SIFC clears pending approvals for $30 million Jet Green airline project

The Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC) has fast-tracked long-pending approvals for M/s Jet Green Private Limited, paving the way for the $30 million private airline project to move toward operational launch.

According to an SIFC statement, the council coordinated with relevant stakeholders to resolve regulatory and procedural delays that had stalled the project for nearly a decade.

The facilitation process included aviation licensing, safety clearances, commercial operating permissions and airline certification required for launch of operations.

Authorities stated that the coordinated approach ensured compliance with national aviation regulations while significantly reducing processing delays.

With major approvals now secured, Jet Green has moved from the documentation stage to operational readiness, marking the planned entry of a new private airline into Pakistan’s aviation sector.

Officials said the project was expected to increase competition in the aviation market, improve passenger services and create employment opportunities in aviation and related industries.

SIFC stated that the development reflected ongoing efforts to unlock delayed investments, improve investor confidence and accelerate decision-making in key sectors of the economy.
