AGPR sets June 12 deadline for payment claims ahead of fiscal year 2025-26 close

The Accountant General Pakistan Revenues (AGPR) has set June 12, 2026, as the deadline for submission of payment claims related to the closing of fiscal year 2025-26 and directed all Drawing and Disbursing Officers (DDOs) to ensure the timely submission of cases.

According to an AGPR notification, all claims relating to recent procurements and services rendered must be submitted by June 12.

The notification stated that unapproved claims and bills carrying tokens issued up to June 12 will have to be resubmitted by June 15, 2026.

AGPR has also fixed June 19, 2026, as the last date for submission of releases pertaining to Assignment Accounts administered by AGPR Islamabad and its sub-offices.

The department said no honorarium claims would be accepted after June 12.

According to the notification, computer-amended statements relating to off-cycle payments will be accepted only up to June 11, while their processing will continue until June 16.

AGPR directed all DDOs to comply with the prescribed timelines to facilitate the smooth processing of payments and year-end financial transactions.

The notification further warned that salary cheques issued during the current financial year would become time-barred at the close of the fiscal year.

“No replacement cheque for the current financial year shall be issued after June 30, 2026,” the notification stated.

AGPR urged all concerned offices to strictly follow the notified deadlines for the submission of claims, bills and payment-related documents.
