International Industries shareholders approve up to Rs500 million investment in CFS Minerals

Shareholders of International Industries Limited have approved an equity investment of up to Rs500 million in CFS Minerals (Private) Limited, an associated company, according to a notice submitted to the Pakistan Stock Exchange on Friday.

The resolution was passed at the company’s Extraordinary General Meeting held on June 18, 2026. The company submitted a certified copy of the resolutions to the exchange under Clause 5.6.9 of the Rule Book of the PSX. 

The investment will be made in tranches and will remain subject to any necessary regulatory approvals.

International Industries said shareholders had approved the investment under Section 199 of the Companies Act, 2017, and the Companies (Investment in Associated Companies or Associated Undertakings) Regulations, 2017.

Under the approved resolution, the Chief Executive Officer, Chief Financial Officer and Company Secretary of International Industries Limited, or any other authorised person, have been empowered to execute documents, make filings and take required steps for implementing the investment.

The authorisation includes filings, submissions and applications with the PSX, the SECP and any other relevant authority.

The company said the resolution would also be subject to any amendments, modifications, additions or deletions suggested or required by the SECP or any other regulatory body.

It added that such changes would be treated as part of the special resolutions unless they were substantial enough to require fresh shareholder approval.
