PSX restores trading terminals of Akhai Securities, B&B Securities after Sindh High Court orders

The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) has restored the trading terminals of Akhai Securities (Private) Limited and B&B Securities (Private) Limited following orders of the Honourable High Court of Sindh, Karachi.

In separate notices issued for market participants, PSX said the court had suspended the operation of enforcement orders issued by the exchange against the two brokerage houses until the next date of hearing.

The trading terminals of Akhai Securities had earlier been suspended under PSX Regulation 20.5.2(g), after the exchange said violations of SECP and PSX Regulations of a significant nature were detected during an inspection.

The suspension was disclosed through PSX Notice No. N-172 dated February 06, 2026.

According to the latest notice, the Honourable High Court of Sindh, Karachi, has suspended the operation of PSX enforcement orders dated February 04, 2026 and June 10, 2026, until the next hearing.

PSX said it had restored the trading terminals of Akhai Securities in compliance with the court’s decision.

In a separate notice, PSX said the trading terminals of B&B Securities had also been restored after the court suspended the operation of the enforcement order dated April 24, 2026, until the next hearing.

The exchange had earlier informed the market through PSX Notice No. N-483 dated April 27, 2026 that the trading terminals of B&B Securities were suspended under PSX Regulation 20.5.2(g).

PSX had said at the time that the suspension followed violations of SECP and PSX Regulations detected during inspection.

The exchange said the terminals of B&B Securities had been restored to the same status in compliance with the order of the Honourable High Court of Sindh, Karachi.

Both notices stated that the restoration was being made pursuant to the court orders and in compliance with the decisions of the Honourable High Court of Sindh.
