State Bank to remain closed on June 25, 26 for Ashura holidays
Central bank says closure follows public holidays declared by Government of Pakistan for 9th and 10th Moharram 1448 A.H.

ISLAMABAD: The State Bank of Pakistan will remain closed on June 25 and 26, 2026, on account of Ashura holidays.
In a statement, the central bank said it would observe public holidays on Thursday and Friday, corresponding to 9th and 10th Moharram 1448 A.H.
The holidays have been declared by the Government of Pakistan on the occasion of Ashura.
