State Bank declares July 1 bank holiday for public dealing

KARACHI: The State Bank of Pakistan has announced that it will remain closed for public dealing on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, which will be observed as a bank holiday.

According to an SBP notice issued on June 24, all banks, development finance institutions and microfinance banks will also remain closed for public dealing on the same date.

However, employees of banks, DFIs and MFBs will attend office as usual.
