Amreli Steels completes formalities to raise authorised capital to Rs8 billion
Company says statutory filings and regulatory requirements have been completed after board recommendation and shareholders’ approval through special resolutions

Amreli Steels Limited has completed all statutory and regulatory formalities for increasing its authorised share capital from Rs5 billion to Rs8 billion, according to a notice submitted to the Pakistan Stock Exchange on Wednesday.
The company said the disclosure was in continuation of its earlier letters dated April 28, 2026 and June 18, 2026.
Through those letters, Amreli Steels had informed the exchange about the Board of Directors’ recommendation and shareholders’ approval, by way of special resolutions, for increasing the company’s authorised share capital.
The authorised share capital has been increased from Rs5,000,000,000 to Rs8,000,000,000.
Amreli Steels said all requisite corporate statutory filings and regulatory formalities related to the increase in authorised share capital have been completed in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
As a result, the relevant clauses of the Memorandum of Association and Articles of Association of the company have been amended accordingly.
