PSX to delist Shield Corporation Limited from July 27

The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) has decided to delist Shield Corporation Limited from the bourse with effect from Monday, July 27, 2026, according to a notice issued by the exchange.

The PSX said it accepted the company's request for voluntary delisting under PSX Regulation No.5.14 and Section 19(5) of the Securities Act 2015.

Shareholders of the company who wish to avail the share buy-back offer from the sponsors have been advised to approach Arif Habib Limited, the purchase agent for the transaction.

According to the notice, the purchase agent and sponsors of the company have already submitted an undertaking to buy the remaining shares held by minority shareholders at a price of Rs750 per share. This offer will remain valid until July 16, 2027.

The notice also laid out the timeline for the buyback transaction. The initial buyback period ran from May 18, 2026 to July 16, 2026, while the voluntary delisting requirements were completed on July 18, 2026.

Shield Corporation had filed its delisting application on January 2, 2026, citing low liquidity, with average daily trading volume of around 923 shares over the past year, along with financial losses in the last two years.

The company also noted that it had not paid dividends to shareholders since 2021. It said delisting would reduce operational complexity and allow management to focus on the core business.
