Nisar directs probe into matter of petroleum levy

Minister for Interior and Narcotics Control Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan on Friday directed widening of the investigations into the matter of petroleum levy.

According to the ministry, the ongoing investigations on the issue of petroleum levy were initiated on the directions of Interior Minister Nisar.

In the last four days, marketing companies have deposited Rs440 million, of petroleum levy, in the national exchequer.
