The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (Ogra) on Sunday reduced the Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) price by Rs150 per 11.8 kilogram for domestic cylinder.
A notification in this regard was issued by the authority, which says the move is aimed at providing relief to the masses.
The household cylinder weighing up to 11.8kg would now cost in Rs1,530.17 as compared to its previous price of Rs1,680.21.
The decrease in prices of LPG cylinders for households follows the reduction in petrol and diesel prices for the month of March.
The government reduced one litre price of petrol by Rs5 to Rs111.60, and that of high speed diesel by Rs5 to 122.26.
OGRA had earlier recommended a reduction in the prices of petrol and diesel.

Govt can figure out the reason why this price rises up. Then there will be no need to reduce the price for a short-timer.
