Dollar falls to 161.50 in interbank market

The rupee made a significant recovery in the money market on Tuesday as the dollar fell and is currently trading at trading at 161.50/162 in interbank market.

The rupee appreciated 1.98 against the greenback. In the last five days, the US dollar has declined by about Rs 5.0. According to analysts, this decline in US dollar should help reduce burden on debt by Rs 540 billion.
