Geely to debut two EV models in Pakistan through Bestway Group
Chinese automaker to introduce EX5 electric SUV and EX2 hatchback in Q3 2026

Chinese automaker Geely has signed an agreement with Bestway Group, appointing the Pakistani conglomerate as the exclusive importer of its vehicles in Pakistan as the company prepares to enter the country's electric vehicle market in the third quarter of 2026.
The agreement was signed at Geely's headquarters in Hangzhou, authorising Bestway to import and market vehicles under the Geely Galaxy brand.

The development was first reported by Chinese media and later confirmed by Bestway to PakWheels.
As per reports, Geely plans to launch two fully electric models in Pakistan initially — the Geely EX5, a compact SUV, and the Geely EX2, a hatchback. Both vehicles will be imported as completely built-up (CBU) units.
According to the companies, the partnership aims to strengthen Geely's presence in South Asia while supporting the development of Pakistan's new energy vehicle market. Bestway will establish a local sales and after-sales network using its existing business infrastructure.
The EX5 is powered by a 60.2 kWh LFP battery paired with a 160 kW (218 hp) front-wheel-drive motor producing 320 Nm of torque. The SUV accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 6.9 seconds, has a top speed of 175 km/h, and offers a driving range of up to 530 km under the CLTC cycle. Its battery can be charged from 10% to 80% in 20 minutes using DC fast charging.
The smaller EX2 features a 39.4 kWh LFP battery and a single rear-wheel-drive motor producing 85 kW (114 hp) and 150 Nm of torque. It accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 11.5 seconds, has a top speed of 130 km/h, and offers a range of up to 410 km on the CLTC cycle. DC fast charging enables the battery to charge from 30% to 80% in around 25 minutes.
The EX5 has already been introduced in Europe, Australia, Southeast Asia and Latin America. The EX2, sold in China as the Geome Xingyuan, was China's best-selling vehicle across all segments in 2025 and has since been launched in markets including the Philippines, Thailand and Brazil.
Bestway said the official launch date and pricing for the two models in Pakistan have not yet been finalised and will be announced at a later stage.
