Gold prices in Pakistan saw a slight decline, reflecting a drop in the international market rates. The local price of gold per tola decreased by Rs100 to Rs245,000 on Tuesday.
According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of 10-gram gold was Rs210,048 after a decrease of Rs86 during the day.
On Monday, gold prices had dropped by Rs1,300 per tola in Pakistan.
Internationally, the price of gold also fell on Tuesday. APGJSA reported an international rate of $2,362 per ounce (with a $20 premium), down by $14 from the previous day.
Meanwhile, silver rates remained unchanged at Rs2,900 per tola.
In April, gold had reached an all-time high of Rs252,200 per tola in the Pakistani market.
