FBR sets new customs/export values for mangoes for ongoing season

New export values for fresh, pulp, and dry mangoes set at $800, $1000, and $1500 per metric ton respectively.

The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has revised the customs and export values for mangoes for the current season. According to a ruling issued by the Directorate of Valuation Lahore (Ruling 2 of 2025), the new export (FOB) values are set at $800 per metric ton for all types of fresh mangoes, $1000 per metric ton for mango pulp, and US$1500 per metric ton for dry mangoes.

The FBR’s directive follows a consultation process with major stakeholders, including representatives from the All Pakistan Fruit & Vegetable Exporters, Importers & Merchants Association, as well as mango exporters.

The Directorate of Customs Valuation Lahore conducted a thorough analysis, including a review of market trends, export data from the Pakistan Revenue Automation Ltd (PRAL), and documents submitted by stakeholders.

The valuation exercise adhered to the provisions of Section 25(15) of the Customs Act 1969, ensuring that the determined export values reflect both national and international market conditions.
