Honda has reintroduced the 6th-generation City in Pakistan with the launch of the new Aspire S variant, marking the end of a five-year hiatus.
The new variant, priced at Rs6,149,000, focuses on styling and convenience enhancements rather than mechanical updates, making it the most significant refresh for the City in recent years. The Aspire S is Rs180,000 more expensive than the previous top-end Aspire 1.5L CVT but retains the same 1.5L i-VTEC engine and chassis dimensions. Core safety features like dual airbags, ABS, and EBD are also unchanged.
Honda’s approach with the Aspire S is to refine the vehicle’s design while preserving its proven strengths for a more polished driving experience. The exterior now features a redesigned Honda emblem, two new color options (Canyon River Blue and Ignite Red), a black trunk spoiler with an integrated LED stop lamp, shark-fin antenna, and full LED lighting across the headlights, fog lamps, and taillights.
Additional exterior details include chrome accents on the door handles and garnish, black side mirrors, and newly finished alloy wheels. Inside, the cabin has been updated with new-pattern fabric seats, a leather-wrapped steering wheel stitched in a baseball style, and a matching stitched gear knob. The addition of tweeters enhances the audio quality, while smart entry, push-start ignition, cruise control, automatic climate control, and rear air vents improve comfort.
The Aspire S combines aesthetic upgrades with user-friendly technology, offering a modernized City experience after a five-year wait. Despite keeping the same engine and structure, the additional convenience and style make it a more appealing option for buyers.
