Pakistan’s total liquid foreign reserves increased by $54.8 million, or 0.28%, to reach $19,735.7 million as of September 12, 2025.
According to data released by the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), the SBP’s reserves rose by $20.9 million, while net reserves held by commercial banks increased by $33.9 million during the week.
As of September 12, SBP’s reserves stood at $14,357.2 million, reflecting a slight increase of 0.15% from the previous week. Net foreign reserves held by commercial banks reached $5,378.5 million, marking a 0.63% rise. The total increase in reserves over the week amounted to $54.8 million.
