High-level Saudi delegation arrives to finalise cooperation agenda ahead of Crown Prince’s Pakistan visit

A high-level delegation from Saudi Arabia has arrived in Pakistan to review cooperation across key sectors and prepare a priority agenda ahead of the expected visit of Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman, Business Recorder reported. 

Ibrahim Al-Mubarak, Assistant Minister of Investment of Saudi Arabia, is currently in Islamabad. A separate delegation from the office of Mohammad Al-Tuwaijri, Advisor at the Royal Court and Chair of the Pak–KSA Task Force, is also visiting to conduct a final review workshop of sectoral working groups and conclude the SP-ECF framework.

A joint sectoral session covering finance, commerce and energy will be held on February 13, 2026, at a hotel in Islamabad. Senior Pakistani officials will present sectoral updates, while the Saudi side will also share its proposals before detailed discussions on future cooperation.

The finance session will be attended by the Minister for Finance, Minister of State for Finance and Secretary Finance. The commerce session will include the Minister for Commerce and Secretary Commerce.

The energy session will be attended by the Ministers for Petroleum and Power along with the secretaries of the respective divisions. Other participants will include the Minister for Climate Change, Minister for Economic Affairs, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Industries and Production, Chairman of the Federal Board of Revenue, Pakistan’s Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Additional Secretary Finance and the Deputy Governor of the State Bank of Pakistan.
