PTCL subsidiary PTML declared eligible for Pakistan’s 5G spectrum auction

Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) has informed the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) that its wholly owned subsidiary Pak Telecom Mobile Limited (PTML) has been declared eligible to participate in the Next Generation Mobile Services (NGMS)/5G spectrum auction.

According to a notice filed with the exchange on Monday, the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has scheduled the 5G spectrum auction for March 10, 2026.

“It is to notify that Pak Telecom Mobile Limited (PTML) — a wholly owned subsidiary of the Company — has been declared eligible to participate in the spectrum auction for Next Generation Mobile Services (NGMS)/5G, scheduled for March 10, 2026, by the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA),” PTCL said in its disclosure made under Rule 5.6.1 of the Pakistan Stock Exchange Rule Book read with Section 96 of the Securities Act, 2015.

The company added that any further developments regarding PTML’s participation in the auction will be communicated to the exchange in accordance with applicable regulations.
