SBP unveils redesigned website with easier access to data, regulations

The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has launched its redesigned official website to improve access to information for citizens, businesses, financial institutions, researchers, journalists and other stakeholders.

In a statement, the central bank said the new website has been developed as a modern, secure and inclusive digital platform as part of SBP’s digital transformation agenda.

The redesigned website features simplified navigation, improved search and filtering options, and faster access to data, circulars, regulations, publications, press releases and other official content.

The website is fully responsive across desktops, smartphones and other devices.

SBP said the platform also offers a bilingual interface in English and Urdu, allowing users to switch between languages.

The website has been developed in line with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) and includes features to improve usability for persons with disabilities.

The central bank said the website’s information architecture has been reorganised to make key areas such as monetary policy, financial markets data, banking regulations and other SBP functions easier to access, while retaining legacy content.

The previous version of the website will remain available through a dedicated link on the homepage until July 15 for users who need to refer to the earlier interface.
