Pakistan’s reserves stand at $22.68 billion as debt repayments cut SBP holdings by $1.25 billion
Central bank reserves fall to $17.23 billion as of July 10, 2026; commercial banks hold $5.450 billion

The State Bank of Pakistan’s foreign exchange reserves fell by $1.245 billion during the week ended July 10, 2026, mainly due to external debt repayments.
According to data released by the central bank, SBP-held reserves declined to $17.226 billion by the end of the week.
Pakistan’s total liquid foreign exchange reserves stood at $22.676 billion, while net reserves held by commercial banks amounted to $5.450 billion.
