SBP reserves edge up $25mn to $17.215bn in latest weekly update

Pakistan’s foreign exchange reserves held by the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) rose by $25 million during the week ended June 5, 2026, according to official data released on Thursday.

The SBP reported that its reserves increased to $17.215 billion, compared with $17.190 billion in the previous week.

Overall liquid foreign exchange reserves stood at $22.67 billion as of June 5, 2026, the central bank said.

Of the total, SBP-held reserves accounted for $17.215 billion, while commercial banks held net foreign reserves of $5.457 billion.

In its weekly statement, the central bank confirmed that the increase of $25 million occurred during the week under review.
