Pakistan, UAE discuss closer ties in education and workforce training

UAE minister highlights Pakistan’s commitment to stronger ties in skill and workforce development

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s ambassador to the United Arab Emirates, Faisal Niaz Tirmizi, met with UAE Minister of Human Resources and Emiratization and Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Abdulrahman Bin Abdulmanan Al Awar, on Saturday in Islamabad.

The two officials discussed ways to expand cooperation between the two countries in higher education and human resource development. They reviewed the ongoing collaboration and explored new areas to improve ties in education and workforce training.

Ambassador Tirmizi emphasized Pakistan’s commitment to building stronger institutional links and advancing joint efforts in skill development and workforce readiness. He also highlighted the role of the Pakistani community in the UAE’s development and thanked the UAE for its continued support for expatriates.

Dr. Al Awar said the UAE values its relationship with Pakistan and is interested in deepening its cooperation in areas that benefit both countries. He welcomed regular communication between the relevant departments in Pakistan and the UAE.
