PM Pakistan, presidents of Turkiye and Azerbaijan underline close ties at ECO summit

The three leaders hold hands as a sign of close relations and solidarity among Pakistan, Turkiye, and Azerbaijan

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev walked together and exchanged pleasantries in Khankendi, Azerbaijan, following the Economic Cooperation Organization Summit.

According to a statement from the Prime Minister’s Office Media Wing on Saturday, the Azerbaijani president briefed the prime minister and the Turkish president on the history and historical buildings of Khankendi.

During the walk, the three leaders held hands as a sign of close relations and solidarity among Pakistan, Turkiye, and Azerbaijan. They engaged in an informal conversation while walking through the area.

Later, President Aliyev personally drove Prime Minister Sharif to Shusha for a luncheon.
