Pak Suzuki launches Fronx crossover in Pakistan, prices start at Rs 5.99 million
The crossover will be offered in four variants, including a mild-hybrid GLX trim
Pak Suzuki Motor Company has officially launched the Suzuki Fronx in Pakistan at a corporate event held in Lahore, marking the company’s entry into the locally assembled crossover segment.
The Fronx has been introduced in four variants. The GL MT has been priced at Rs 5,999,999, while the GL AT will retail for Rs 6,099,999. The GLX AT Mono Tone carries an ex-factory price of Rs 6,299,999, while the top-spec GLX 6AT has been priced at Rs 6,374,999.
Positioned in the B-segment crossover category, the Fronx will be available with both conventional petrol and mild-hybrid petrol powertrains. The GL variants come equipped with a 1.5-litre petrol engine paired with either a 5-speed manual or 4-speed automatic transmission. Meanwhile, the GLX variants feature a mild-hybrid setup mated to a 6-speed automatic gearbox.
According to the company, the crossover produces 99 horsepower and 135 Nm of torque. Higher-end variants include features such as a 9-inch infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, 16-inch alloy wheels, and six airbags.
The launch marks Pak Suzuki’s return to the crossover segment through local assembly after previously offering the Vitara as a completely built unit import.
