Pakistan, Saudi Arabia agree to expand economic and energy cooperation
Ministers discuss new areas of collaboration and agree to maintain regular consultations on shared priorities

Pakistan and Saudi Arabia have agreed to broaden economic cooperation and deepen collaboration in the energy sector, the Power Division said.
The understanding was reached during a meeting between Federal Minister for Energy Sardar Awais Ahmad Khan Leghari, Federal Minister for Finance Senator Muhammad Aurangzeb and Saudi Minister of Finance Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Jadaan.
According to a Power Division spokesperson, the talks focused on strengthening the Pakistan-Saudi Arabia economic partnership, expanding energy cooperation and identifying new areas for joint work.
Both sides also agreed to maintain progress on matters of mutual interest and continue regular consultations to advance shared objectives.
