In an effort to help brand marketers produce high-quality video ads for the TikTok audience, Bytedance has named Shuttlerock as an official TikTok Creative Partner. The appointment comes as more businesses are eager to boost their presence on TikTok but want some help on the actual creation front.
“To round off a big week in Shuttlerock history we‘ve just announced our global TikTok partnership,” said Scott McBride, the global chief business officer at Shuttlerock. “We’ve not only become a global TikTok Creative Partner but have also built an API integration between our technology solution – Shuttlerock Studio – and TikTok’s recently launched Ads Manager.”
According to the announcement, Shuttlerock transforms existing assets – such as long-form video or static images – into TikTok videos. The business will attune to the reality that TikTok users shoot video horizontally, due to which it will optimize for vertical-specific placements and creative best practices.
The recently launched Ads Manager by TikTok will integrate with Shuttlerock Studio – the company’s proprietary tech solution – through an application programming interface, which will allow advertisers to order, revise and ultimately deploy TikTok-optimized video ads directly, seamlessly, and at scale, offering a complete end-to-end creative solution for TikTok advertisers.
“TikTok is an extremely exciting addition to our list of partners, and we are looking forward to working with brands from all corners of the globe in harnessing the power of TikTok through the creation of fun, vibrant vertical video ads,” said Cam Burns, VP of partnerships at Shuttlerock. “Ever since mid-2019, our in-house creative teams have been working on a number of projects for early adopters of TikTok ads, and we are now primed and ready to ramp this up as an increasing number of brands seek video assets for use on the platform.”
Whether a brand asset is a static imagery or long-form video, Shuttlerock claims to be able to transform those assets into high-quality vertical video ads, enabling brands of all shapes and sizes to develop handcrafted TikTok ads.
Complementing existing partnerships with Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest, and Hulu, the L’Oreal video ads production firm hopes that the new relationship with TikTok will make it a one-stop-shop for all digital creative needs.
