Czech keen to invest in Sindh

KARACHI: A delegation of Czech Chamber of Commerce from the Czech Republic called on Sindh Board of Investment (SBI) Chairperson Naheed Memon here Saturday.

The Czech Chamber Vice-president Borivoj Minar led the 7-member delegation, said a statement.

The SBI Chairperson has said that the Czech Republic had signed a MoU with Sindh government this year and now they want to further strengthen relations in various fields of economy.

She further said that Sindh Province is suitable for foreign investment as it has friendly investment laws.

The Czech Republic delegation expressed interest to invest in machinery, textile, solar energy, cosmetics and others sectors of the economy.

The delegation agreed with the Chairperson suggestion to further strengthen the dialogue and hinted for holding soon another meeting on various investment sectors.
