PM Imran directs finalisation of incentives for special technology zones

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan has directed the officials concerned to finalise incentives plan for special technology zones so that foreign investment could be brought to the country.

Chairing a meeting on Thursday, the PM emphasized that Pakistan has immense potential in the IT sector, which needs to be optimally tapped so as to fulfill the country’s domestic requirements and meet its export targets.

He said the young Pakistani population would get maximum benefits from the uplift of the neglected IT sector of the country.
