Khyber Pakhtunkhwa own-source revenue crosses Rs150 billion, beating annual target
Provincial collections rise more than 60% from Rs92.70 billion a year earlier, exceeding the Rs129 billion target

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s own-source revenue has crossed Rs150 billion for the first time, surpassing the province’s annual target of Rs129 billion, Advisor to the Chief Minister on Finance Muzzammil Aslam said.
The province had collected Rs92.701 billion in the previous fiscal year, meaning revenue increased by more than 60% year-on-year.
Aslam said the rise reflected reforms aimed at broadening the revenue base, improving tax administration, strengthening compliance and tightening financial management.
He added that higher provincial revenue would create more room for spending on infrastructure, education, healthcare, social protection and other public welfare programmes without imposing additional burdens on citizens.
The advisor said the provincial government would continue pursuing measures focused on transparency, fiscal discipline and sustainable economic growth.
