International Packaging Films subsidiary approves Rs1.4 billion metallizer acquisition
Investment will expand production of value-added metallized packaging films for domestic and export markets.

Global Packaging Films (Private) Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of International Packaging Films Limited, has approved the acquisition of a metallizer at an estimated project cost of Rs1.4 billion.
International Packaging Films disclosed the decision to the Pakistan Stock Exchange on July 22.
The company said the investment would increase the share of value-added products in the group’s packaging films portfolio.
The equipment is expected to strengthen Global Packaging Films’ metallizing capabilities, expand production capacity and improve operational efficiency.
The company said the additional capacity would also help meet growing demand from domestic and export markets.
