Bank of Azad Jammu & Kashmir business plan/budget for 2018 approved

MUZAFFARABAD: The services of Bank of Azad Jammu and Kashmir were appreciated in its 31st board meeting held here on Wednesday and approved Business Plan and Budget for the year 2018.

The meeting was chaired by Dr. Ejaz Muneer, Chief Secretary Government of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, who is also the chairman of the bank’s board of directors.

Imran Smad, Managing Director of the Bank while initiating the proceedings of the meeting, highlighted important points regarding the performance of the Bank.

While presenting the Business Plan of the Bank and Budget for the year 2018, Board of Directors (BoDs) were informed that during 2018, all Branches of the Bank would be further strengthened so that customers could be provided modern Banking facilities.

After thorough scrutiny and consideration, the Board approved the Bank Business Plan and Budget for the year 2018.

The BoDs expressed their satisfaction and confidence over the Bank’s performance for the year 2017 and appreciated the steps taken by the management for the promotion of the Banking business.

It was hoped that the Bank will achieve all its targets during the 2018.

The Chairman Ejaz Munir appreciated the role played by the Bank for Socio-Economic development of the people of the State of Azad Jammu and Kashmir and assured all possible support and patronage of the Government to the Bank.

Those who were present in the meeting included all Directors, Senior Member Board of Revenue Fayyaz Ali Abbasi, Secretary Finance Farid Ahmad Tarar, Secretary Forests Syed Zahoor-ul-Hasan Gilani, Secretary Industries Raja Tariq Masood Khan, Chartered Accountant Ejaz Hussain Rathore, Senior Banker Raja Mumtaz Ali, Naveed Sadiq, Secretary Board Maazullah Khan and Chief Financial Officer Shahid Shahzad Mir.
