Turkey offers support to Pakistan to tackle locust crisis

Turkey has offered to extend support and cooperation in elimination of locusts in Pakistan.

A C-130 plane of Pakistan Air Force has already arrived in Turkey to transport Piper Brave spray aircraft which is to be used for spraying in affected areas. In a statement issued the other day, a PAF spokesperson said the aircraft would be used to fight the locust onslaught on various crops and cultivable lands across the country especially in Sindh and Punjab.
