Government authorises flight operations from June 20

ISLAMABAD: The Government of Pakistan has authorised international flight operations to and from all international airports of Pakistan, except Gwadar and Turbat airports, from June 20.

“The permission for international flight operations shall be subject to applicable restrictions and limitations as decided by the competent authority from time to time in light of the current Covid-19 scenario and implementation of health protocols,” read a press statement issued by the Aviation Division.

“Additionally, cargo, special and diplomatic flights shall continue to be authorised as per procedure,” said the statement.

According to the Aviation Division following the standard operating procedures shall be mandatory for all airline operators.
