Symmetry Group posts Rs168m PAT, revenue rises 33%

Growth driven by higher revenue, operating profit; announces final dividend

Symmetry Group, a leading Pakistani software house, reported a profit after tax (PAT) of Rs168.14 million for the year ended June 30, 2025, marking a growth of over 22% compared to Rs137.26 million in 2024.

The company’s earnings per share (EPS) increased to Re0.59 in 2025 from Re0.51 in 2024, while a final cash dividend of Re0.05 per share, equivalent to 5%, was announced.

Revenue surged nearly 33% to Rs767.42 million in 2025, compared to Rs578.03 million last year, driving a gross profit of Rs415.28 million, up 15% YoY, though gross margin declined to 54.1% from 62.7% in 2024.

Operating expenses rose to Rs201.3 million from Rs189.18 million, resulting in an operating profit of Rs213.96 million, up from Rs173.06 million. Other income fell 11% to Rs17.15 million, while finance costs increased to Rs42.75 million from Rs32.48 million.

Consequently, Symmetry posted a profit before tax of Rs183.4 million in 2025, compared to Rs153.5 million in 2024. The results reflect growth amid rising revenue, gross profit, and strategic investments, including the launch of Pakistan’s first generative AI creative studio.
