Petrol reduced by Rs1.5 per litre

ISLAMABAD

Prices of all other remaining petroleum products will remain unchanged.

The government on Friday revised prices of petroleum products, reducing the price of petrol and diesel by Rs 1.5.

Finance Minister Ishaq Dar said the price of petrol has been decreased by Rs 1.5 per litre, while the price of high-speed diesel will also be reduced by the same amount for the month.

Petrol will now be sold at Rs 71.3 per litre and diesel at Rs 79.9.

Dar added that the government will continue to provide a subsidy of Rs 2.4 billion on petroleum products.

“The new prices will become effective midnight,” said the finance minister.

Prices of all other remaining petroleum products will remain unchanged.
