ISLAMABAD: The Executive Committee of the National Economic Council (ECNEC) on Wednesday approved 12 development projects with a combined cost exceeding Rs380 billion.
The meeting was chaired by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar.
The approved projects span agriculture, education, health, infrastructure, and climate resilience, covering Punjab, Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Balochistan, and Gilgit-Baltistan.
During the meeting, the deputy prime minister reaffirmed the government’s commitment to inclusive and sustainable national development.
The session was attended by the Planning Minister, senior ministers of Punjab and Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Advisor on Finance, Chief Secretary Gilgit-Baltistan, federal secretaries of Cabinet and Planning, and senior officials from Finance, Energy, and other relevant federal and provincial departments.
