Not so rosy for Rozee.pk anymore: Report

‘The deteriorating sales revenue, declining performance lack of efficiency and constant employee turnover’ are gradually tarnishing the company’s image and vision.

In what seems like a report based on a tip-off by a disgruntled ex-employee of Rozee.pk, Flare magazine claimed that the virtual marketplace for job seekers has been in trouble for sometime now.  It has shut down six of its regional sales offices and downsized two of its major regional offices, the report said.

Flare describes in detail the challenges that Rozee.pk has been facing in the recent past.It claims that it is plagued with high employee turnover which has triggered various unfortunate events for the organisation. Major voluntary resignations have come by the senior management of the company paving way for junior staff to follow the footsteps of their seniors.

“Head of marketing. Director digital marketing, vice president enterprise solutions, vice president products, head of finance, head of “Agay Barho” magazine, head of call centre and various managerial and executive level staff “ are among the prominent individuals having abandoned the organisation, Flare disclosed.

Despite the current challenges faced by Rozee.pk, it is commendable that the organisation managed to secure sizeable foreign investments amounting to $6.5m from VastokNafta and Piton Capital which brought the company’s total venture capital funding to $8.5m, according to media reports.

The investments can prove productive as they have placed Rozee.pk in the ranks of one of the biggest venture capital investments in Pakistan. Sadly enough, the company CEO’s widespread business commitments in other ventures have only proved futile uptill now, according to the report.

The deteriorating sales revenue, declining performance lack of efficiency and constant employee turnover are gradually tarnishing the company’s image and vision.

Faced with numerous operational deformities, cutting prices will prove to be an ineffective strategy paving way for new entrants such as Right Job, Jobee, Mustakbil to lead the market, the report said.
