Water talks open window of Pak-India dialogue: PIBC

Indus water treaty talks have opened a window for restarting process of dialogue between Pakistan and India on various issues.

Pak India Business Council (PIBC) Chairman Noor Muhammad Kasuri here on Sunday stated this while recording reaction on recently completed round of water talks between both the countries.

He said, “Dialogue is the only realistic option to resolve issues between both the countries even if someone may feel it difficult to initiate and harder to sustain”.

He said that history of hostile environment had caused loss of many hundreds billions to the economies of both the developing nations.

He said present leadership of both the countries was capable of taking hard but correct decisions. “This is right time for both countries to resolve their issues,” he added.

China is a best model to study for economic growth, he said. “Chinese have established best diplomatic relations with various countries of the world,” he said.

Chinese also enjoyed trade partnerships with those countries which they did not have good friendly relations, he added.

“I have held many rounds of sittings with business men of India and I found they want to resolve all issues with Pakistan and increase trade,” he said.
