Upgraded Awam Express to be inaugurated on Wednesday

LAHORE: Railways Minister Khawaja Saad Rafique will inaugurate the Awam Express on Wednesday, tomorrow, after its upgradation.

According to a press release issued on Tuesday, Rs 100 million had been spent on upgradation of four racks of the train.

For better and safe journey of passengers, power plant, AC dining car, luggage van and break van have also been upgraded.

In the AC compartments, standard curtains have been used for privacy.

Khawaja Saad Rafique had directed the department concerned to upgrade Allama Iqbal Express, Khyber Mail Express, Akbar Express and Bahauddin Zakaria Express also.
