LAHORE: Pakistan Carpet and Manufacturers and Exporters Association (PCMEA) has announced to hold three day carpet exhibition in September 2019, hoping that Trade Development Authority Pakistan (TDAP) and all other departments and institutions will play their pivotal role to make the event successful.
“We expect that like past, this year government along with their relevant bodies will be providing all necessary facilities and cooperation to help 2019 exhibition create its substantial impact regionally and globally,” PCMEA senior vice chairman Ijaz Ur Rehman said while presiding over a meeting participated by senior central leaders of the organisation.
PCMEA senior vice chairman Ijaz ur Rehman vowed to leave no stone unturned to ensure the participation of foreign traders. “Since exhibition’s success will help bolster carpet industry, so PCMEA seeks all sort of financial and technical assistance from the government,” he said.
Senior member Riaz Ahmed mentioned that contacts with foreign business people in Pakistan and overseas Pakistan missions would be enhanced. With extensive publicity, CDs containing different products of carpet industry would be provided, he said.
Later, participants laid down a number of suggestions that were taken in consideration to make the exhibition a success.
