Punjab govt to share e-stamp, land ownership data with FBR

ISLAMABAD: The Federal Board of Revenue has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Board of Revenue-Punjab under which the latter will share data regarding e-stamp and land ownership.

“In line with the vision of the prime minister to improve transparency in the tax collection system, the FBR has achieved another milestone by signing an MoU with the Board of Revenue-Punjab, the FBR said in a statement issued on Friday. “The FBR has been making consistent efforts to acquire third party data by linking its IT systems with such parties to broaden tax base and to improve the transparency in the collection system.”
