Petrol prices may decrease by Rs3.30 for July

Karachi: Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has forwarded a notification to the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Resources on Thursday for notifying a decrease in prices for petroleum products from the 1st of July.

OGRA recommended a price cut of Rs2.70 for high-speed diesel, resulting in a fall to Rs78.70 from Rs81.40.Petrol (motor spirit) may see a price cut of Rs 3.30, which will see the price falling to Rs69.50 per litre from Rs72.80 currently. Kerosene oil used in remote areas for cooking purposes may see a major surge in price of Rs11 to increase from its current price Rs44 to Rs55 a litre. Light-diesel oil prices will rise by Rs7 to reach Rs51 from its current price of Rs44.
