Following the recent trend of revising the prices of cars by auto assemblers, Pak Suzuki has also increased the rates of its cars, with effect from July 1, 2019.
In the circular sent to dealerships across Pakistan, the company has asserted that due to the recent Pak Rupee devaluation and owing to its negative exchange rate impacts and new duties/taxes levied by the government; it is extremely difficult for the company to sell their cars on the current prices.
Aside from the cars, Pak Suzuki previously also increased the rates of its bikes by up to Rs8,000. Furthermore, Honda, Al-Haj FAW and Isuzu have also increased the rates of their products.
In Egypt people started a movement called ..Let Them Rust…They stopped buying new cars for one year due to every week increase in car prices on one pretext or other.RESULT. INSTEAD OF INCREASE THEY HAVE TO DECREASE THE PRICES OF CARS BC NO BODY WAS BUYING..WHY WE CAN NOT DO THIS IN PAKISTAN

Simply don’t buy cars from this company. Stop feeding a monopoly and let them starve, Government should let in foreign companies which can offer better deals at cost-effective prices. In Economics, inflation is supposed to be managed, if companies let in inflation into a country with uncontrolled prices and free-market economy it could spell devastation for everyone. The very first aim of this Government is to control inflation and heavily punish such companies that intentionally increase prices with biased excuses. Have a look at Pakistani’s affordability are they able to afford it? Enough of this unfair businesses turning into mafias. Government better do something about this.

Compared to other countries these are considered cheapest cars but in Pakistan Crap cars expensive like mercedes…
