Engineering Development Board (EDB), Ministry of Industries and Production have informed that the preparations for the upcoming Hannover Messe-2017 Germany scheduled to be held from April 24 to 28 are almost complete.
In this regard, the Ministry of Commerce has provided finance through the Export Development Fund (EDF). Exhibitors and delegates from prominent engineering industry will be participating in the Industrial Technology Fair which accommodates 6500 international exhibitors on an annual basis.
Pakistan’s Pavilion will be set up in the Industrial Supply category where the product showcase for innovative sub-contracting will take place. The domestic product line on exhibit will include Auto Parts & Components, Tractor/Agriculture Farm Machinery Parts and Components, Electrical Pumps, Motors and Fans, Diesel Engines, Low and High Pressure Compressors, Towing Parts, Rubber Hoses, Industrial Rubber Products, Plastic Injection Molded parts, Precision Engineering Components, Cast and Machined Parts, Forged and Machined Steel Components, Transmission Parts, Fabrications, Heat Blowers Condensers, Batteries etc.
The purpose of the event is primarily to explore new markets for Pakistan’s value added engineering products besides allowing the domestic business activity exposure of high-quality production technologies and international norms/ standards.
The EDB revived the event in 2016 after 6 years and the participants received great responses who were able to generate quality leads. Various businessmen were able to land export orders from international customers. This year’s event is expected to generate many more leads for domestic industrialists in the form of joint ventures/collaborations.
