International trade fair for technical textiles and nonwovens

Techtextil, the leading international trade fair for technical textiles and nonwovens showcased the full range of potential uses of modern textile technologies has ended. It took place parallel to Texprocess, the top international trade fair for the processing of textile and other flexible materials.

Manufacturers from all over the world presented their leading technologies for the apparel industry and other textile processing segments. Five Pakistani companies also participated in Techtextil Frankfurt 2017.

Together, the two fairs, Techtextil and Texprocess, welcomed 1790 exhibitors from 56 countries and more than 42000 trade visitors from across the globe.

The Pakistani textile companies which participated in Techtextil 2017 included Huqas Corporation, Master Textile Mills, Sapphire Textile Mills, Mahroz Textile Industries and Ahmed Fine Weaving.

The TDAP delegation consists of the following companies including Nishat Chunian, Colony Textile, Mahmood Group, Faisal Spinning, Al Farooq enterprises, Aruj Industries, Spry Sports corporation, Kay & Emms, Madina Oasis, Aspin Textile, Tee Zee Textile and Blue Ice Industry.

Over the last two editions, more than 200 visitors have visited the show from Pakistan, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka.

Techtextil sets the benchmark with new record figures. Nearly 90 per cent of all exhibitors achieved their trade fair objectives and over 97 per cent of the visitors expressed very high or high levels of satisfaction.

The next Techtextil and Texprocess will be held in 2019. Techtextil North America will be held in June, and Techtextil India in September 2017.
