Made in Pakistan expo starts in Kathmandu

ISLAMABAD: The ninth edition of Made in Pakistan Expo kicked off on Wednesday at the United World Trade Centre in Kathmandu, Nepal.

The week-long expo, organized by the Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry in collaboration with a number of Pakistani businesspersons, was inaugurated by Nepal-Pakistan Friendship Association President Himalaya Shamsher Rana.

The Pakistani products that were kept on sale at the exhibition included furniture, leather items, handicrafts, textile products, and artificial jewelry.

The event is expected to be helpful in introducing Pakistani products to the Nepalese consumers and in providing a platform for interaction between the business communities of both countries.
