Gold price declines Rs6,200 in one week

KARACHI: The price of 24 karat gold dipped by Rs6,200 in the past one week and was traded Rs89,000 per tola on Monday, thanks to uncertainty due to the coronavirus outbreak, local media reported.

The drop in gold priceĀ  came as investors offloaded the commodity to keep cash largely due to the uncertainty caused by the spread of coronavirus across the world.

The gold price was at Rs95,200 per tola on last Monday.
