Industries failing to adopt SOPs regarding Covid-19 to be sealed, warns Dar

ISLAMABAD: Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Youth Affairs Usman Dar on Wednesday said the industries that failed to adopt standard operating procedures (SOPs) regarding the coronavirus and prevailing lockdown would be sealed across the country.

Dar was speaking to a business delegation, who called on him to discuss situation arising from the lockdown.

SAPM said Prime Minister Imran Khan is taking decisions by keeping the welfare of poor in the mind.

He said the coronavirus pandemic has badly affected economic activities across the globe including Pakistan, but export industries have been exempted from the lockdown to minimise losses.

Dar warned the industrial units to strictly adopt SOPs set by the government to halt the spread of the deadly virus.
