5 Pakistani companies to participate in Techtextil Frankfurt 2017

At least five Pakistani companies are going to participate in the international fair of Techtextil Frankfurt, 2017, on May 9. The Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) has organised a trade delegation consisting of 12 companies.

Techtextil is the leading international trade fair for technical textiles and nonwovens showing the full range of potential uses of modern textile technologies. It takes place parallel to Texprocess, the top international trade fair for the processing of textile and other flexible materials. Manufacturers from all over the world will be presenting their leading technologies for the apparel industry and other textile processing segments.

Together, the two fairs; Techtextil and Texprocess welcomed 1,666 exhibitors from 85 countries and almost 42,000 trade visitors from 196 nations.

Below companies are participating from Pakistan in Techtextil 2017:-

Huqas Corporation, Master Textile Mills, Sapphire Textile Mills, Mahroz Textile Industries and Ahmed Fine Weaving from Pakistan.

TDAP delegation consists of the following companies: Nishat Chunian, Colony Textile, Mahmood Group, Faisal Spinning, Al Farooq enterprises, Aruj Industries, Spry Sports corporation, Kay & Emms, Faisal Mustafa, Aspin Textile, Tee Zee Textile and Blue Ice Industry.

Over the last two editions, more than 200 visitors have visited the show from Pakistan, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka. Techtextil sets benchmarks with new record figures. Nearly 90pc of all exhibitors achieved their trade fair objectives and over 97pc of visitors expressed very high or high levels satisfaction.

The next Techtextil and Texprocess will be held in 2019. Techtextil North America will be held in June and Techtextil India in September 2017.
