Inauguration of Lahore-Abdul Hakeem Motorway on 31st

  • ‘The important segment of Karachi-Peshawar Motorway will link the districts of Sheikhpura, Nankana Sahib, Faisalabad, Toba Tek Singh and Khanewal to the motorway network’

ISLAMABAD: Communications and Postal Services Minister Murad Saeed and Punjab Governor Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar would jointly inaugurate Lahore-Abdul Hakeem Motorway at Jaranwala Interchange (M-3) on March 31st.

This is an important segment of Karachi-Peshawar Motorway that has linked the districts of Sheikhpura, Nankana Sahib, Faisalabad, Toba Tek Singh and Khanewal to the motorway network, According to a statement issued on Saturday.

The motorway will gear up pace of socio-economic development in the areas located on its alignment besides generating new employment opportunities.

The project would also facilitate the transportation of agricultural produce of these areas to the big markets of the country.
